Background Information

Hai was born in Tokyo, Japan. When Hai was young, around 6, he found his parents hanging. He found out later they committed double suicide together. After this, he was raised by his older brother, who verbally and physically abused him until he ran away at 16. For the next two years of his life he did various jobs to get enough money to move to the states for a fresh start, setting off for the US when he was 18.

Love死

When hai moved to the states and arek moved to NYC, they both begun to look for an apartment and happened to apply for the same roommate ad that a girl named "Lakomp" put up. they both ended up sharing a room, since lakomp only had two bedrooms. they were both desperate for a place, so they agreed. hai and arek quickly became good friends, feeling some sort of strong pull towards the other they couldnt explain. they became romantic soon after.

It should be noted that Hai and Arek are canonical soulmates, but seem to have a doomed fate in most universes. This can range from them never meeting (and always feeling incomplete for the rest of their lives), or at least one of them dying when they do meet.

Background Information

Arek was bounced around the system as a child, being dropped off at an orphanage's doorsteps as a baby. He eventually outgrew their care and left for New York City at 19.
